“In more than 40 countries around the world, violent conflict has torn through farmland, villages and cities. Throughout the world today, there are some 35 million survivors of conflict—10 million refugees and 25 million internally displaced persons. The vision:

Foster the process of reconciliation and inspire hope in places of despair and hopelessness. (Biblical reference: 2 Cor 4, 1- 6, 10).

The strategy:

Develop a radio series in various languages with testimonies from Christians around the world, who have gone through deep human inflicted suffering (ethnic conflicts, expulsion, loss of family members in war zones, etc.), and broadcast the series over local and international radio stations into conflict/conflict-prone areas of the world.(Prepared by Thorsten Grahn (ERF) in 2008)

The concept:

Produce 26 x 15 minute radio programs with transcripts in the seven global trade languages, which can be broadcast into a conflict zone to help start the conflict resolution process.  While the trade language broadcasts are taking place, local language translations, contextualization and production can take place for more effective target broadcasting.

While the local language broadcasting are taking place, on the ground Conflict Resolution programs designed by LeRucher Ministries can be rolled out into the local community through the networks of TWR and other organizations.

Follow up Radio programs, in the local language address the specific local conflict can then be organized, developed and broadcast by the network established in the conflict zone, with the overview provided by LeRucher and Member Care Media.
